“I had high hopes for this place, having heard good things from friends. The atmosphere was lovely, welcoming and had a nice buzz that made for an enjoyable setting. (Especially for a Wednesday night!) We ordered the lamb and also the grilled chicken, and while the food was decent, it didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of flavour, presentation, or originality. It felt more like a home-cooked meal or takeaway kebab than something you’d expect when dining out at that price point. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but the food didn’t quite stand out. A bit more attention to detail could really lift it.”

“We did a Google map search for somewhere to eat after working at Bearded Theory festival. The Greek Chef popped up so off we headed. We were not disappointed! Staff were courteous and attentive, service was quick and the food was absolutely wonderful and authentic. We will certainly be back!”

“Went for my birthday lunch as Greek food is my favourite. First time visiting. Service friendly. Place is a tad dated but added to the authentic greek vibe they were going for. Most of all - the food was INCREDIBLE!! I am fortunate enough to have visited most of Greece and let me tell you - the food here topped some of the food I've eaten there. “Authentic Greek restaurant in the heart of Lichfield with friendly staff members, delicious foods and nice Greek music. Reasonable prices and large variety of food. I strongly recommend their Chicken Souvlaki (with tzatziki, salad and chips) or Chicken Gyros. If you prefer Greek soft drinks, try theit sparkling Loux Lemonade. Some extra Greek decoration would be nice to feel the real Greek hospitality.”

The food is delicious and very well presented, the service is very helpful and nothing is too much for them, and the atmosphere is authentic and as a Greek myself that has been to Greece, I mean there’s no difference other than the weather outside which is of course not controllable Shocks me to see others have ever thought of this restaurant as anything over than 5 stars because this is one of them restaurants where it’s good and you know it will be time after time. And in this day and age, not many restaurants have that to them anymore so this is definitely one to try if you haven’t already, and one to return to if you haven’t been in the past 24 hours!!! P.S: They do the best Halloumi cheese, definitely worth trying from my experience.”
